Just checked tracking and see the PO delivered a package today from IBT. So I'll take the hike to the MB sometime tonight. This will be the replacement tube I bought for the first IBT tank's Bold Black Swirl tube that the paint job on left a lot to be desired, and another complete tank. Went with different tube colors/patterns this time and no "swirls". So I'll see if they did better with a solid color tube and a mottled tube.

The PO also delivered one from VIP. That'll be the carto punch they are so proud of.

I'm really sorry yours turned out that way, but on the bright side I learned my lesson for $5 cheaper. I really wanted that same tank but after those pics I went with clear.

I've given the Diver or the Sophia some thought the past couple of weeks. Maybe they can breathe some life back into the carto for me, but I still have the Russian 91 on the way and I want to give the Taifun GT a try also. Maybe I'll pick one up and some of the pre-made R/NR wire. Might be fun trying to put a cotton build in one

Can't see any reason why a cotton build would not work in a Diver, or mesh/ceramic for that matter.

Went and got the vape mail..... the solid color tube is OK, about what I expected... I should have went with clear on the other. Have two complete tanks from them now with an extra tube and a ton of extra o-rings. So I'll move on to the custom tanks.

Also found why VIP is so proud of the carto punch... it's huge, it's heavy, a lot of aluminumies gave their life for it.

Uh oh...

So I just got my IBTanked with the bold red swirls and red end caps / rook drip tip

The tank is fantastic, as they always were, but I don't know about the anodized red with the Red ProVari

I think I need a set of black or stainless caps for it... Good news is, the red anodized looks great with my Lavatube.

It looks 'traffic cone orange' which is probably the fault of the camera and the flash. It is so hard to coordinate colors of tanks to the color of the ProVari one has. I have seen other struggle with this and have chosen the path of least resistance. I just use complimenting colored tanks with my black ProVari.

My only ecuse is it was 3:46AM during yet another all nighter when I made that post in error.... well, that and old eyes that didn't see the cap against the mat.

The micro/cotton set up works well in my two Tridents as well, in all my atty's. Still using mesh/ceramic in the RSST though.

My RSST setup is micro/cotton but I don't use it much any more.
