So I just decided to make a batch of 24mg 50/50 base and I had an old mount baker 50 ml bottle that seemed like a nice size. Long story short, it's not 50 ml. Most bottles give you a bit of headroom on top of their stated amount. I've learned a lesson now to put your nicotine in first so you don't have 60mg nicotine flowing onto the counter. This is more like a 48ml bottle. I am very sure of my measurements and even if I was a tad off I shouldn't have had an overflow plus excess left in the syringe. This is just a cautionary tale to tell everyone to measure your bottles before using.

Gee any empty bottles I have purchased have been right on. Could it be a way of "Skimming off the top"? Pun intended.
