I use glass bottles because they are just easier to deal with and there has been some question raised as to whether or not plasticides leach into the liquid being stored in plastic. I get my glass bottles from here Cobalt Blue European Dropper Bottles - Specialty Bottle

I use strictly RTS vapes for my nicotine and stock up well when they have sales like they will this week.
I have been freezing nic for over a year now with very good results so it is easy to stock up when the price is right :)

Not to mention that RTS nic is extracted in the US from US tobacco plants and I will support US Made every chance that I get.

Nice find, funny that the caps cost more then the bottles, haha.

I know they are more money, but I prefer glass droppers. I got twelve 15ml bottles for 15.99 w/ free shipping off of eBay. Work great and the price was right. I think the sellers name was wholesale vials. I also got them very quick. He had larger lots but I just went with twelve.

Sorry, I didnt see the question after my post. Go to the baking and/or sewing supplies. The bottles are used to dispense small liquids and icings.

I thought you just hated me  :p

ETA: Forgot to say thank you, didn't even think to check the sewing section; couldn't find any in the baking section.

DK tab from Perfumer's Apprentice
Marlburo from Heaven's gifts
East coast tab from VaporRenu
tobacco Absolute and tobacco Extract from perfumer's apprentice: these are more of an Add instead of a base flavor
Seedman's Flavors: again, use these as adds.

Tobacco type flavors are very delicate vs other types. Case in point: Have you ever had something taste too strawberry? In just a couple of %, my favorite DK tab can go from heavenly to nasty (8%vs 12%). Tobacco absolute and Tobacco extract I only use maybe 1 drop or 2 too a 30ml bottle, have to be very careful with these. Tobacco Absolute will leave a ring the bottle (if you have any flavors you like that leave a ring when sitting you know its TA added). I hate TA, because it tastes like Horse Hay, enjoy TE though. In the end, tobacco flavors will be the hardest to master because they are so very sensative to variations, and the most time consuming. Fruit and sweet flavors are super easy though to get you by till you finally nail that flavor your searching for.

Also, try keeping the Nic level low when DIY experimenting. That way the nic itself doesn't taint your new flavor, get a flavor you like, then add the nic in and watch the effect.

Thanks for the tips Stownz. I have tried DK Tab from PA, not really what I'm looking for but not bad. Does the Tobacco Extract have more of that 'musky' tobacco flavor? One of my favs is Flue Cured, and I noticed there are some folks in another thread trying without success to replicate it.

I'll try some of your tips and flavors and report back later!

36 mg seriously limits your available ratios...

I usually order 60mg for mixing. Why, you may ask? Sixty is a multiple of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15 and 30. That's flexibility! Plus, in some cases, it's cheaper per mg/ml than other strengths.

Nope, but then again, I'm not exactly paranoid about the 100mg stuff. I try not to knock being cautious, but I don't like seeing people getting super paranoid either.

I take 100mg 100% VG and do quite a few ratios with it. Sometimes its 70/30 PG/VG 24mg, sometimes its the opposite 30/70 PG/Vg 24mg. What it all comes down too is the range you need with your juice. If you vape low nic, or you always vape 100%, then you don't have to bother or worry about high nic base.

The biggest change I do with my mixes is the ratio of PG to VG. I seldom tinker with the Flavor %s. When I'm at home, and I'm chain vaping: I want tons of VG. When I'm chain vaping at work, I want tons of PG so I'm not blowing huge clouds and people think the shop is on fire. If I want to stealth vape like church or the movies, I go pure PG and turn the volts down super low. Its good to have options!

great thread.

you mentioned that you get only just enough nicotine to last for a short while, to avoid oxidation. how long does an open bottle of nicotine last? how long does an unopened bottle of nicotine last? also- should i store it in the fridge perhaps?

im asking because ive got 3 30mL bottles of nic coming and i want to preserve them as much as possible.

I still have some Voidmist stuff that is over a year old, and it is dark dark brown. I vaped it, was fine, didn't taste messed up or anything. It was sitting in the trunk of my car for a few months, and just got super heated. Is it bad? Dunno, tastes fine. Best route is to keep the stuff refrigerated, that is for sure. I have a 4 month old 500ml bottle of nic that is still the same crystal clear like the day I bought it.
