McGuyver Battery. Possible?

Guys, I just broke both my 510 auto batteries over the past few days (they were crappy ones you get from the stall, to be fair).

I'm thinking of McGuyvering a ghetto battery up using disposable batteries and some wires. Is it possible? (using CE2 cartos atm - it's all I have)

Any and all assistance is hugely appreciated. My new kit is coming in the mail and I really don't want to get started on analogs again.

Essentially no, cartos and attys are nonpolar (interchangeable positive/ negative arrangement) and the resistance of the atty limits current flow (by getting nice and hot) so the battery isn't really going through that much strain (like if you shorted it for a while).

Ill let you know that you will get some pretty awesome looks from bystanders with this act

cell phone batteries have a protection circuit built into them. any fear is unbiased.

You mean... "Biased"... Right?

Well... I wouldnt really know... But maybe that safety feature would work within the phone's system... mmmm...

I dont know anything about batts... And I am totally biased when it comes to fears... Heee!
