Were did you put the fire button on the mod?? And how/were dud you solder + and - to the board. .
By the way, its a nice looking mod:)

If you look at the first pic the fire button is a long shaft tack button. You can just see the nub of it sticking out from the left side top of the box. I spliced into the leads from the factory button which is remote from the board. Hard to see but it is located just to the left of the Battery +. The leads for the switch are just to the right of the V up button. You can just see the two little solder pads.

Batt + is center bottom of the board.
Batt - is either edge just above the display. You can see mine to the left and just above the display.

Atty +/- re-used factory wires. left of center top of board.

Unfortunately all my soldering is on the back side and the board is hot glued in but once you pull apart your lava tube it will be obvious.

I had to cut mine completely apart with a dremel as everything appeared to be glued together fairly thoroughly.

Hi Bstedh,
As you seem more than qualified working on the Lava Tube I have a question maybe you could help out with. I have a first gen. LT (black) that occassionally won't fire. While holding down the fire button the display shows "Lo". Curious if you have seen this error or understand why it occurrs? Any feedback would be great, I've only had the LT for 2 1/2 months. Thanks!

pretty sure that means the battery needs to be changed. with the LT v2 it says Lo V. but you can usually vape it for awhile after it shows up,if i remember right...been awhile since i used my LT v1. if you press the red button 7 times rapidly it shows the batt. voltage, mine would start showing low at like 3.5 volts i believe
