I picked up a Smoktech Natural just to see what the heck mechs were like. I guess I see why my Provari is so widely hailed...

I looks super sharp in 18350 with my AGA or Terminator on top, but after 3 pulls on a fresh battery, I notice the power to my devices drops significantly. And from then on out it's a pretty lame experience. I'm using red AW 18350 nipple top batteries in it. From my understanding, they're a pretty solid battery and haven't given me any grief in my Provari.

What gives? I knew mechs drop off in power but not this fast. I guess I'll try kicking it.

I get about 2 days out of an AW IMR 18650 2000mAh in my Silver Bullet. There is a drop-off in performance, but, for me, it only becomes a problem when the battery gets down to about 3.5V (using a 2.0 ohm Cisco LR atty) - and that's right about when I stick it on the charger!

You shouldn't notice a significant difference after 3 pulls. Have you tested your battery recently? Also, what's the resistance of the coil in your rba?

Thanks for the thoughts. I've got a 1.1ohm coil in my agat2 and 1.5 on the Terminator. But for ....s, I've been testing on a 1.8 vivi to see if my rebuilds were any bit at fault. Same difference on the vivi nova. Maybe the battery I was sent is faulty? I have 2 more on the way so I can see if that's an issue. Maybe it was too early to blame the Natural. I want it to work in stealth mode cause it looks sharp as hell, fits nice in my hand, and seems like it's pretty nice quality for the money.

AW IMR 18650 2000mAh = good for 3-4mls of juice @ 1.2Ω on pretty much any mech I have.

That being said, I've moved on to AW ICR 18650 2600mAh Protected Batteries. They last much longer, and give me all the amps required, since I don't go below 1.2Ω, and it's capacity is at least twice what I need. Maintains it's voltage very well, no drop-offs I get from the AW IMR 18650 2000mAhs after an hour or two, and does me for roughly 6-7mls.

Interesting stuff. I knew I wasn't expecting miracles with 18350 but figured it'd be a nice one to carry in the pocket. Two things I'm kind of confused on. Lower ohms drain batteries faster? My (granted faulty) logic thought it was the other way around. Also when sanding contact points, you're saying the ones inside the mech, right? (I'm not sure where others would be actually...) How far down am I sanding? Or just smoothing out a little?
