Oh dont get me wrong I love my Reo it is the best vape I can even imagine experiencing, I would just like to get something tube mod style that equils a Grand with a RM2 on top.
The Reo is so beautifully crafted, one very fine crafted, solid device. The customer service is out of this world great too.
Finding this same high quality of product, engineering, customer service, in a tube mod? Very easy to find at the present. Maybe not so easily found in stock at the moment your CC is flaming red hot, but yes, they're out there and waiting to make your mouth drool.
Buttery smooth threads, safe quality 304 or 316 Stainless Steel solid construction, or Titanium or beautiful naval brass, or ... yes, they're all out there waiting for you to F5 your dream. Put your Ninja mask on, add the Roller to the list you're gathering from the other high end mod owners, because you're going shopping Dear. :)

Nemesis, ELA, Precise +, Roller, Poldiac, Caravela, and so many more. DreamCatcher might be one to keep an eye on, it certainly has a new concept about it.
For some insight into the high end mods, and attys, check out reviewers like Mike the Hill Giant, on youtube. Scott, Igetcha69. BigChris.
Pay attention to how the 510 connection adjusts, how the battery screw adjusts, how the button sounds, looks, feels..
They are incredible now adays. They are like a Reo, only better, if you can believe that. They are built to last your lifetime, not the lifetime of the mod. (as you seem to already be aware of).

Enjoy your research.
Oh, and here's a hankie to catch the drool. :::: hankie:::::

I think Pete is not spammer material, given he has 2,400 posts in here.

I agree w/ both sides, but if you can afford the finer nuances and want those finer nuances, people shouldn't be shined on for doing so. Just like people who don't wanna be shined on for just wanting current.

Given the car analogy, why don't we all just have the same car and/or the cheapest made car that gets us from point A to B? There's a myriad of reasons. One of them happens to be nuance and experience. This is where many of the higher end mods excel compared to their CH counterparts. No need to modify upon receipt, higher quality materials, better connections, smoother button/locking, easier set-up, etc., etc.

No side is right or wrong, so to be wholly dismissive of one's desire to try/use a device that costs more isn't helpful to them.

I wasn't being dismissive I made three different suggestions. First the Rio then the GG and when they said that they would consider less expensive ones the Omega which in my opinion works just as well as any of them and looks nice too. I have been vaping for over four years. I made my own VV device out of a 2x14500 battery box and a small pot before there were any of them for sale. The car analogy was to say it's all good. Pete came on here and was the one being dismissive. Did you read his post? As for spamming he surely was. He said see my signature well I clicked on his signature and got sent to a lame e-cig wannabe forum for people who look down on you guys. Which by the way Peet seemed to be doing. Obviously he doesn't like people who buy cheap mods and then he said let the hate begin but I won't read it. Come on.

I am new to this site but not even close to being new to e-cigs or forums for that matter. I was vaping before there was even a 510 at all or anything to do with LR atties or any of the new stuff. There were atomizers and that was it. The thing is that I remember when you either made your own mod or you paid a hundred bucks for one and I think it's cool that people can now afford a good cheap mod that does what it's supposed to do. As for the expensive ones being better I wouldn't be so sure. Everyone I have bought needed tweeks as well and some of them didn't last long for the money.

The OC
NZonic.
Stylish, rock solid features, amazing build quality.

Crazy stupid low voltage drop.

Plus it's less than half your budget.... So if you wanted, you could spend that money on a couple decent RBAs, tips and batteries... Our even a cheaper backup like the omega or a K100

Yep, I LOVE mine. One of the best mods I have ever had. And they are not hard to get a hold of.

There is exactly zero "looking down" on people who don't own high-end mods at that link. It's just an alternative place for people who want to discuss a specific thing. To carry on the car metaphor, it's people who are interested in the supercars of the vaping world. If that's lame to you, so be it. But as the "high end mods" thread here demonstrates, there's definitely an audience interested in just that -- including the OP, apparently.

Pete was referring to the fact that you recommended a $15 chinese mech to an OP asking for advice on a ~$400 mod and questioned his budget and wants. Not exactly helpful.

You and Pete missed the posts where I suggested two expensive mods and then the OP replied that he was happy to look at less expensive mods as well so that is why I suggest one cheaper one. Then instead of making a suggestion Pete gets rude. I wasn't doing anything but trying to help out. I made two suggestions first the Rio and the GG both of which I have owned and liked. The OP then said they were open to cheaper mods as well so I suggested one. Seriously what is with all this negativity? I don't care what kind of mods people buy and I said so more than once. I simply stated that there are alternatives. You don't have to spend $400 to get a good mod was my only point, not that you can't if you want to. Like I said pretty paint is cool.

Now I'm done this has gone way off topic and shouldn't have done so in the first place.

In fairness the OP asked for a MOD recommendation, not for someone to tell him how he can spend his money.

Exactly . . . Instead of being helpful and answering the OP's query, members engaged and were less than helpful.

So much for the ECF community spirit.

Sorry guys didnt mean to cause an argument, I will probably buy a cheap one until I can truly get what I want. I have narrowed it down though I know I want a bottom button, and 18650,18500,18350 compatible mod. Im looking at the Nemeisis, Gus, Silver Dog, Poldiac, and Nzonic.

Don't worry you didn't start anything. I should have just stuck to giving you advice on mods. The cheap mod that I posted is a really good one. You can look up the video's on youtube. Fast Tech also has a bunch of telescopic bottom button mods as well. Good luck and have fun.

First time I've seen the "hero". Is it a clone of the fantastic little MicroStick? The MicroStick uses any genny up to 16mm I believe, which means you're not stuck with a dedicated wannabe genny.
For being "experts", why is the "Hero" recommending pushing the 18350 battery with lower ohms?
My first impression of the "Hero"? I'm put off by them, wouldn't go there if you paid me.

The MicroStick on the other hand is incredible & I tried so hard to not mention it, until after I get one for me. This sucks.

Damn fine engraving by Otto Carter wow! That shat is cool! Way cooler then Vape Rev.

Get the mod you like brother just get one that works.
Be it a 40 dollar mod or a 3000 dollar mod.
If it makes you happy it's the right one for you. Peace...

Obviously quite a few folks just like to spew without ever having read the opening question. From here on out they shall be referred to as spewers. Friggin Spewers! Gnite mates.
