I bought a Panzer clone recently and the performance changed after a series of events. Out of the box it hit awesome. But the locking ring stripped and I got a replacement for it from the company that sold me the mod. After that, even after cleaning, it doesn't have the same oomph to it. I don't know if I need to clean it some more or if there's possibly something different about the parts they sent. (It was an entire replacement for the bottom piece of the mod)

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with something like this before I get sad lol I'm honestly not sure what to do at this point. I've been using a mech mod for about the past two months or so. It's not the atomizer because it fires just fine on my Kamry. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!

I assume when you say 'bottom piece of the mod' you mean the switch assembly. If the switch assembly has higher resistance it will take away from your vape power. High enough resistance and it will start to heat up in use. Because the change happened after installing a new switch assembly I suspect that's what is going on here, but without having the mod in hand and working with it that's an opinion only.

There are at least a couple of different versions of this clone out there that are really different in the switch area. If yours has a lock ring, I think it also has a black plastic insulator around the firing pin?

Have you taken the switch assembly completely apart and cleaned all the contact surfaces inside it?
