Ive found I love a kicked mech mod with a LR boge carto in a nice tank full of any HHV tobacco. Now im looking for something beautiful because someone(me) has a birthday coming soon:bday:

Im looking to keep the mod around the $100 mark. Something 18500, that will take a kick 2 and a 18350. Something small, bottom fired, nice switch(magnetic maybe), adjustable center pin. If your a mech vaper and can recommend something that fits my criteria I would love to hear from you.

I would suggest a Nzonic (mag button) or Caravela clone - both made specifically by EhPro,
Or a Smok Magneto,
Or an Innokin iTaste 134, which you don't need to Kick,
Or you can get a blem Provari, usually for around $130.
Another interesting mod is the Bagua 14500 mag button clone at Chinabuye... cheap yes, but a neat little out and about mod.
And finally, if you want to try a hybrid, the iHybrid Pure runs under $100.

With this sentence you just perfectly described my Nemesis, sir :) Only the $100 mark is a little underestimated, unless you are willing to go with the clone. For $100 you can buy three of those.

Nice but I don't think it's kickable without the attachment they sell.

Anyone else?

You can kick this the same as you would any other mod. (going 1 size smaller batt + kick = tube length). The kicklet unit they sell is a top section that contains the kick. Thus. you can change batts without handling the kick itself. And it will fit on any of the Simplicity 18xxx units.

Everyone has their favs, and perhaps these aren't "the one" for you. But you'll have a hard time getting a better "customer experience" for your buck in a "high end" mod. Their customer service is first class, and you can openly communicate with both the company and fellow customers,(if that matters to you.)

Make sure you do the math on the maximum current for the kick 2 and the 350 battery .

For instance AW IMR 18350 are rated at 6 Amp , my kick 1 is fused at 7 Amp .
So , considering the kick 2 is higher power ..... you must makes sure the battery you choose can deliver the necessary current .

It depends on what coil resistance you are using. Kick 2 is rated at max 6A, it puts out maybe a hair more as the reviews suggest. It would take extremely subohm coil, to get anywhere near. Like at 15W with 0.5R coil you would get pretty close. I use AW IMR 18350 with Kick 2 in my Nemmy. 1 Ohm coil at my usual 12W adds up to 3.5A. I vape it on Provari as well, which has a 3.5A limit. With typical usage there are no dangers.

The kick one is fused at 7 Amp .
In a fault condition , that fuse will carry 7 Amp all day without blowing .... which will be 1 amp over that rating of the aw 18350 battery .

You keep your "typical usage" where ever you like , I will stick to the specifications of the devices .
If the OP wishes to use an 18350 he should seek one that is rated high enough .
IMHO you should not be giving advice on electrical issues as you clearly don't have sufficient understanding .

Kick2 is supposedly 6 amp.

Oomee is correctly pointing out, that should any unpredicted situation happen, like in an event of Kick 2's malfunction then it can possibly draw more than 6A from the battery. What he is saying is that Kick has a 7A fuse which will not blow until such current is reached which in fact may be too late for the 18350 battery.

You are exactly correct. Evolv told me 4.5A. But I just don't see how that is even possible. Perhaps the kick can indeed fire coils lower than 1.3, although it's not recommended by them.

Thanks.. maybe I am missing it. Why would Evolv throw out a 7 amp fuse when all the batteries they recommend have a 6 amp limit. The only info I could find was the post by you and the amps on the Kick2 and Smok which is 5.

Sorry to the OP. Just got confused cause I always thought the Kick1 was 6 which would make it the same as the battery.

Grrr battery speak always gives me a headache.
