Used my mvp to check my coil resistance. All my tanks are 2.7-2.8 (I buy 2.5 coils) my cartos are 3.8 and my nautilus is 1.6

Are all these resistances safe paired with an 18650 imr and mech mod? I'm curious because my only mech is a kamry k100 and I'm debating on upgrading to a nemesis. The other thing confusing me is I only see rba tanks on the nemesis something I'm not interested in at this point. Is the nemesis able to have any of these tanks (with resistances between 1.5-3.8) thrown on it as simply as my mvp, k100, etc?

You will likely need to lower the resistance of the coils you use on a mechanical mod to get a good vaping experience. 1.8 - 2.0 ohm coils seem to work best. The standard resistance coils ( 2.1 - 3.0 ohm) may not make much vapor on a mechanical mod unless you are using a Kick to boost/regulate the voltage.

Battery-wise with a mech, any 10 amp 18650 IMR battery will suffice with coil resistances from 0.8 ohm to 3.0 ohm. Lower sub-ohm coils will do best with a 30 amp battery.

They're all safe to use, but they'll be really weak vapes aside from the Nautilus. The mech isn't going to put out the higher voltage that high resistance needs, I wouldn't use higher than a 2 ohm or so on there.

And you can use anything on the Nemesis, the tanks have just been popular (I'm guessing they were probably Kayfuns)

Considering how you vape, I am not sure why you are interested in a mech. Totally understandable that RBA's aren't your thing, but as Baditude already said, you will not get much "vaping pleasure" with a 2.7 ohm coil and a mechanical mod.

I have vaped as high as 1.8 on my mechs (not often), but when I did, I found it to be a nice vape. :)
