Mech Mods VS Regulated Devices Poll - Your prefference

I created a poll to see what most of the majority here preffers,
Also wanted to see the state of them if they are still popular like mechs etc..

regulated won , expected mechs are dead but i still love to have one going daily besides my regulated, my mech is my dripper basiclly and regulated is my tank ha

Regulated are just more easily accessible and useable, mechs will continue to exist but be somewhat rarer.

Thunderhead Creations make a few, then there's more boutique such a Signature mods that have worked with Dovpo in the past.

I still have my Tsunami and my Dovpo VV and I still use them on occasion but my daily is a regulated mod, VandyVape Gaur 18.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my mechs, but regulating devices made my life a lot easier. I do admit the mechs do last way longer. broke a lot of regulating devices.

I want a consistent voltage applied to my coil with a consistent wattage output without changing the batteries often. A regulated buck/boost mod allows this to be a reality for me. Gimme a 10W boost for half a second on top o' dat and it's perfection.

I don't want to have to worry about making an EXACT build, nor do I want to worry about batteries depleting to a dangerous point. Regulated, all the time, every time.

My rules for vape are simple:

1. Push button
2. Vape
3. Grunt

Thank you so much....I have been away too long. I am well and settling in with all of the changes. I trust that you and yours are all well. I have missed this place (my own fault for drifting away).

No faults, F2V, and NEVER any judgments (I'm FAR from qualified to judge ANYONE). Life first, play second. We all need to take what time we have, then do whatever is fun when we can.

Technically, wouldn't they be more "Unregulated" than "Mech"?

No. They’re like really really old mechs: a battery, a piece of metal it heats, and a switch. Also unregulated. Usually. I did see a regulated one once so they’re not all that way.

I've never taken one apart (I barely use any), but had just assumed there were wires in there.

Regulated, though I deliberately own 1 mech. Saved in case the US goes Australia (I have a nasty suspicion that that is what “saving vaping” means.)
