Sorry but it's just a suggestion. In my opinion, if it looks like a mechanical mod, works just like a mechanical mod, and has safety features that prevent shorting and destroying batteries, all is good in my opinion. However, if you really want to break it down and tell someone to go for the more expensive option that works exactly the same, then go right ahead. I'm just not trying to send people into trying things that start out super expensive that they won't be able to resell and won't ever use again.
Sure, you can suggest anything you want. I too would have suggesting something like an ijust or ego one (ego one VT is on my list). Just don't call them mechanical mods, that's all ;)

Well man sorry but I see things kind of for what they are. When I was on the market for a mechanical mod, the iJust 2 was a serious contender and basically, with all the safety features I definitely wanted to get one, but found a better mechanical mod out there for around the same price, which was a great decision on my part.

So in essence what I'm saying is, when in the market for a mechanical mod, the iJust 2 cannot be overlooked, in any regard, unless someone thinks their mod will be spying on them, I suppose.

I don't really care for whatever name you're giving the ijust 2 or ego one, again, just don't call it a mechanical mod. Because it is NOT.

Call it a regulated unregulated mod, with safety features.

Alright guy, I'll do as you ask. Anyways, if you feel as if you haven't said that enough, please be my guest and say it again, because you'll get the same reply as my previous replies.

EDIT: Sorry if I sound rash, but I'll call it whatever I feel like it needs to be called. Under no circumstance do I see any other mechanical mod firing any different than the iJust 2, except for the fact that if the battery is overcharged, undercharged, or any other ailment the battery might suffer, at least the iJust 2 will detect it and tell you it's gonna be a bad conclusion. With a "true" mechanical mod, that just won't be.

Not sure of the price difference but i believe the IPV3 Li is cheaper. This thing is a beast and it does indeed fire up to 200w. I got the smok tfv4 and can vape at 120 watts all day comfortably.
Plus you get the cool touch fire thingy :D
yea im just looking at the snow wolf because it's sleek. other mods seem meh imo. i will continue to look around though i saw one for about $164 but thats a mech mod i believe from cloud chasers inc not ready to dish out that kind of money on a mod

Yeah im not much of a mech mod fan. I really enjoy the ipv. Yihi chip is one of the leading components in this market, keep an eye out

Go for the DIY juice if you're short on cash to buy your next shiny.

Trust me on that, spending too much on shinny's and then not having money for store bought juice and running out is definitely no fun.

Mech mods simply don't work for me. They hit hard in the morning when the battery charge is fresh and weak on the drive home when it's been vaped on during the day. Sure I could carry around a spare battery but I'm not really that kind of person that walks around with a spare battery in my pocket.

//Is that a spare battery in your pocket or are you just happy to see me.

lol provari heard a lot about them in a good way didn't even check up on them yet something tells me that is another expensive mod but i'll still shop around little hesitant to try a mech mod atm I'm still new to vaping building wise I think I will be okay just don't want it to blow up in my face knowing me it is highly likely.

Actually the "get a provari" is a bit of a joke around here.
However it is a very good and reliable PV (with power limitations) that makes a good foundation PV. I found that once that foundation was in place, I was free to buy other devices when I wanted to, instead of when I had to.

Without a doubt, ready made e-liquids are the most expensive thing about vaping. Their just like an old cigarette, once you use it .. it's gone forever. A good PV will last for years, so it's cheap in comparison. For most 100ml of nic base will last a year, and only costs about 10 bucks. You can buy PG & VG for 20 bucks/gallon, and it takes a long time to vape away a gallon of juice. So when you start paying ~6c for a ml of juice instead of a dollar, all of a sudden there is money in your pocket for other things.
With ready made liquids, remember that the bottle & label costs the manufacturer more than the liquid.

I picked up an iStick 100W yesterday for $30. I have an iPV4 that I snagged for less than $60. I don't have a TFV4 (yet) but I never vape over 80W on anything I have now. The only time I go over 35W is when I fire up a big pair of clapton coils. 200W is a LOT of power. I can't imagine vaping on anything near that, but the SW200 sure is shiny. :thumb: I also DIY and it is a great way to save money. I would grab some VG, PG, Nic and a few syringes and graduated cylinders and some flavors and go for it. Start with simple 1 flavor juices and work into it. Fruits are more forgiving if you get the % wrong and steep faster, so I suggest starting there.

MFS has a decent starter kit for DIY. You can customize it to cut out all the crap you don't need and lower the price. I think I spent like $40ish on mine. I got the needles and some 10 ml cylinders and that was plenty to start with. (I also washed and reused a bunch of empty juice bottles I had laying around.) It comes with small bottles of PG, VG & nic plus I think 5 flavors. I would suggest the Flavor Art brand. They are stronger and you don't have to use as much. I use about 10% flavor with FA. The Flavor Apprentice is a decent brand to get your feet wet, but I use like 20% flavor with these. When you go to buy more flavors, check out Bull City Vapor. They carry Hangsen and Inawera brands. They are a LOT stronger and are some of the best tobacco flavors. They also have a "Super Concentrate" page. Only used one of those so far, but plan to get more. Sign up for the emails at MFS while you are there. They run a sale every couple of months on DIY stuff. You can get 1L of 100mg nic for $40. One Stop DIY Shop has good stuff too. Their house "Blue Razberry Slushy" flavoring is one of my faves. Mix it up at 10 - 15% and it's ready to vape. No steep needed. (It does get a lil better after a day or 2 though.) It's a high VG flavoring too (67% VG I think?) so great for higher VG juices.

There are lots of great recipes in the DIY sub-forum here. Take a peek over there to help you decide which flavors to get. But stick to the simpler ones at first.

You always want to buy nico at the strongest dilution 100mg/liter. Since you are going to dilute it anyway. Pick your carrier VG or PG.
I usually buy Vape gear from MFS, but i buy DIY from Wizard labs. Both are excellent venders..
