I've been vaping for a few months now, and my 3 month smoke free date is coming up, along with my birthday! I'd like some suggestions on a decent mech, one that won't break the bank, but that I don't need to mod the crap out of for a good vape. Planning on buying an RSST to top it. So far on my list lis the KTS, or the Sentinel Clone(All Brass version).

Help!! :)

PS Battery suggestions also very welcome :p

Sentinal Clone and the K100 are both decent options for a first mech. They don't need any modification to work well. I have both, they perform about the same. Between the two, I'd say whatever you like the look of best. I'm personally not a fan of pinky-button mods, where the button is on the side, at the bottom, ymmv.

I like the Magneto. I have the M16 clone and the Sigelei 19e (brass). I'm pretty happy with all of them. Currently the Magneto and the M16 clone get the most use. Out of all of them though, the two with better quality are the Magneto and Sigelei 19e. I guess now they are making them with no glue and no magnets at the bottom too! That will make it even better (hopefully!)

So, I've looked at A LOT of mechs yesterday and today, I've decided to go with the Magneto!

Question though- Is a kick needed or even usable if I plan to use a RSST? Assuming I use a "standard" genny build I'll be under the 1.3 suggested ohm rating of a Kick. The VW isn't really as important as the protection(for me, have a regulated mod already), I might just buy a Kamry fuse or something similar. Thoughts?

Take a look at the "Kick 2" by Evolv. It's rated at 0.5Ω ~ 3.3Ω.

(Yeah... I know AltSmoke is out of stock... just tossed in the link because it was handy ;-) )

Yep, seen that, too bad it's not in production/sold out :(

Still unsure if its needed though. 44.00 for a kick or 5ish for a shortstop.
