Yes you can. The only drawback to a mech box mod is the inability to control the wattage/voltage and you cant see your battery life. Fresh batteries constantly pump 4.2V draining down to 3.7 I think. As long as you can deal with that, you're good to go. I use my Freemax Starre on a Cherry Bomber, no issues.

In a two battery parallel box mod-- applied voltage 3.5-4.2 volts-- you can use a Herakles with the .2 Ohm coils if you have good batteries (Sony VTC4s or Panasonic 25Rs; check Mooch's chart). I would not try that on a 2 battery series mod, where the applied voltage would be 7-8.4volts. You're likely to get a meltdown if the coil doesn't fry. At 8.4v, you're talking ~350 watts. The .2 is asking a bit much from a one battery mod, pretty much no matter what, unless it's regulated and you can hold the wattage down.
