mechanical mod question

so I got two mechanicals, a kamry kts and a smoktech natural. neither one came with an instruction manual. does it matter which way I put the battery in? im using orbtronics 18650 protected batteries in it, button top

button side to top, but i don't think it matters with mechanicals current flows either way.(kanj is correct , i didn't mean you should put batt in backwards, but theoretically can)

Positive on top, negative touching spring like in a flashlight. Reverse can be dangerous, if say the battery jacket is damaged.

That is unless you have a Gus . The battery does go upside down , in those .
