If anyone is interested and either has or can install Google Sketchup (it's free) on their computer I'll PM a .skp file for my version of an opposing rare earth magnetic switch that's designed to be installed in a tube mod (actually any mod really) that'll hold an 18xxx batt. No threading and has a screw-in safety lock out...all you need are 2 cylinder shaped 1/4"x1/4" (6.3mm x 6.3mm) nickel plated rare earth mags, a piece of thin wall 1/4" I.D. brass tube (that the mags will nicely slide into), a long threaded motherboard stand-off and matching knurled computer case screw and 2x 18mm discs of PCB (copper on one side) and some good 2 part epoxy...I haven't built it yet myself (too much stuff on the go) but in theory it should work:unsure:
