I've been practicing meditation on and off for a year but I always find that it kills cravings for anything fast. I just meditated for 20 minutes and I can honestly say that I had the urge NOT to esmoke lol. I had a slight headache from too much vaping so I decided to try meditating - I reached a point where the headache was gone AND I started feeling bliss all over. All I do is the zen technique of focusing the mind by counting breaths (1-10) in a sensory-deprived place (dark room, no noise) and letting thoughts flow through instead of not having opinions on them. You'll notice that you're really not in control of your thoughts and that you'll start thinking the randomest things. The trick to reaching the point of pleasure is to keep with it cuz you'll feel like you're losing the battle against your thoughts until you just reach a point where you stop thinking and you start feeling good.... :) After I reached that point I felt I didnt need to continue and my urge to vape was gone! And Im still feeling pretty good, no headache lol.

Meditations puts me to sleep. :p So I don't vape while I'm napping. I guess it DOES kill my urge for nic.

You've been meditating in a wrong manner - you're supposed to keep awake and focus on something - breathing is the best to focus on because you can keep your eyes closed. It's a method to reach a heightened sense of awareness... not to put you to sleep:D

ive tried meditation, but i never could reach the switch off point,no matter how long i did it for...i guess it depends on the individual...it doesnt work for me.

Did you try zen sitting meditation? Other types such as analytical meditation have been shown to provide little benefits!
