i got my eGo mega carto in the mail today.. had to charge up my dremel battery before i could get started on modding it to fit my GLV 2

As some of you may or may not know.. the new Mega eGo Carto is proprietary in the sense that it has a skirt covering the atty threads,, this skirt also covers the threads where the eGo's cone would screw on..

Dremel in hand i got to chopping... 5mins later i had it cut around and at a point i could shave it down with an exacto pen... long story short and without furthor ado.. here are some pics..

these pics arent that great.. i took em with my droid.. this weekend ill bust out the DSLR and take some nice pics.. and if i really feel up to it when i order some more (i only ordered one , i wasnt sure if this would work or not) i may be talked into making a video

If anyone doesn't have a dremmel, these cartos can be cut easily with a simple utility knife just moving it in a back and forth motion like a saw it will cut right through these. I also run mine @ 6V on my GG's, Silver Bullet, Omega and all my 6v mods, they do work great so far no problems accept filling is a bit messy but worth it.

Just thought I would post about the adapter I am using(purchased from Cignot).It is supposed to be used for charging an Ego batt on a standard 510 charger....This is fantastic for hooking up an Ego carto to a 510 mod(same GLV as $hua posted earlier),it eliminates any cutting or trimming of the Ego carto. Looks kind of odd but it's fully functional!
