So I have been getting stiff draws from my megalodon. It happens when I screw my carto tank all the way down until it's finger tight. Generally when I screw it in that far the air holes on the side of the carto are not lined up with the slits in the connection. If I unscrew it some I can get the air holes to line up with the slits in the 510 adapter. Once the air holes are aligned with the slits the draw is excellent, the problem is the carto tank is a bit wobbly being unscrewed a bit.

Is there anything I can do to remedy this situation?

Thanks guys!

normally what i do when using my don i screw my carto on until i feel resistance, then go 1/4 turn past that and have no issues, yeah it can be a little wobbly but seems to work well enough for myself, i know if you go too tight it can decrease airflow though and i have talked with them to see about making some changes to the fitting

Similar problem here with an acorn tank or my scubagenv3 tank when screwed down finger tight the draw is tight when i back it off some it has a slight wobble . On my ego and a box mod i can screw in finger tight and get an excellent draw.

I did notice when i received mine the screw inside the dons head was not flat at the tip but had an angle to it.
So i took out my dremel with a small enough stone and made it nice and flat without taking much off at all but just enough to make it flat.
Did not work draw is still the same.

Trying to buy another to see if there is a difference but now i read in another thread it may be an existing problem not with just mine.

I may try and buy a shorty 510 connector to add to the connector to see if that will make the draw any better in the meantime.
Hopefully the Dons manufaturer can fix the problem and release a fix that we can use as i feel the shorty connector even if it solves the draw problem will look somewhat awkward.
Any comments are welcome. :)
