I'm sorry I must be confused. I thought the 510 E2 carts at COV that you mentioned were cartomizers. I've only used cartridges and attys. It is the plastic on the cartridges that is melting. I've never used a cartomizer, but Salem is going to send me one to try out. I use syringes all day at work, so that won't be a problem. I'm sure I'll just have to learn how to fill cartomizers and will feel like a total newbie at first. I haven't yet ordered the voltmeter, but Salem has suggested in the past that Ken has them that I can order with a 510 connection on it. I'm going to order one of those.
you can always use an adaptor on the wireie thingie Mike has.........i don't think that other meter will read low enough, you need to check on that, must be able to read below 3 volts for LR and E2's..........i would just get a real meter, a cheap one. it's not that hard to use without Mike's wireie thingie,,,,,,,,i just can't hold the probe on the center post (the other probe only has to touch the case anywhere) while you turn the pot easy...............it's like check the voltage, put the probe down and adjust the pot, then check again.............it's not like you have to do it all the time, once you find what voltage works for what atty/cart you are done until you want to re-set for a different kind of atty/cart.............it's 'almost' KISS but you need to know what voltage works for what you vape with and somettimes what voltage you are at while you're going up/down to find the "sweet spot" for a new kind of atty/cart or
juice.........without that knowledge you're not getting the best use of a VV
device............counting turns works OK but a meter is worth it in time saved..........it takes a while to go down 15 turns to start a new setting and once you find a sweet spot you can't find where it is without a meter unless you kept track of where you are, turns wise, since the last time you took it down the 15 turns.
