I guess it is all in what you are used to. I have always used 808 cartos and have never used a syringe to fill. I have always felt that dealing with an atty would be a PITA.

I use 3.3 ohm 808s that I get for about $6 a box of 5 and love them. The ones from Ikenvape are expensive and have been out of stock for about 2 weeks.

tgcrna- I will send you a 3.3 ohm 808 carto with the juice samples I am sending. That way you can see if you like them before buying.

I agree with wv and kwcharlie. I hate filling the E2s. I've received version 2 and 3 of the E2s and both leaked. Dumb me, I just got a box of version 4 (don't know why I bothered ordering them though). I'll fill one tomorrow morning and see if they are any better than version 2 and 3. If they aren't, I'm sticking to IkenVapers mega 808 cartos and VaporsEtc. hr 808 regular sized cartos.

I have the ones with higher ohms. I thought I told you? Maybe not? These are labeled on the box 3.0 - 3.2 ohms. I hate all the lower ohm ones.

You may be disappointed VG. I have some of the V4s and don't like them at all. It is really going to take the higher ohm ones that COV gets next week to use at HV.

i thought that's what you were melting?
well...........not 'easy', fill with a needle, take out rubber rings then put back in after filling. hold almost a day full, it's worth a try, none of this is 'plug and play'.
Did you get a meter and did you get the "clippie wire thingie" to screw on your buzz? anything digital, cheaper the better.

I'm sorry I must be confused. I thought the 510 E2 carts at COV that you mentioned were cartomizers. I've only used cartridges and attys. It is the plastic on the cartridges that is melting. I've never used a cartomizer, but Salem is going to send me one to try out. I use syringes all day at work, so that won't be a problem. I'm sure I'll just have to learn how to fill cartomizers and will feel like a total newbie at first. I haven't yet ordered the voltmeter, but Salem has suggested in the past that Ken has them that I can order with a 510 connection on it. I'm going to order one of those.

you can always use an adaptor on the wireie thingie Mike has.........i don't think that other meter will read low enough, you need to check on that, must be able to read below 3 volts for LR and E2's..........i would just get a real meter, a cheap one. it's not that hard to use without Mike's wireie thingie,,,,,,,,i just can't hold the probe on the center post (the other probe only has to touch the case anywhere) while you turn the pot easy...............it's like check the voltage, put the probe down and adjust the pot, then check again.............it's not like you have to do it all the time, once you find what voltage works for what atty/cart you are done until you want to re-set for a different kind of atty/cart.............it's 'almost' KISS but you need to know what voltage works for what you vape with and somettimes what voltage you are at while you're going up/down to find the "sweet spot" for a new kind of atty/cart or juice.........without that knowledge you're not getting the best use of a VV device............counting turns works OK but a meter is worth it in time saved..........it takes a while to go down 15 turns to start a new setting and once you find a sweet spot you can't find where it is without a meter unless you kept track of where you are, turns wise, since the last time you took it down the 15 turns.
