Guess I should introduce myself. I started dipping under-way in my job with the navy and decided to take up e-cigs when I got back based on needing a more concealable and (at least at my command) accepted source of nicotine.

I got a basic hot-vapes e-go style with a clearomizer about a month or two ago. After burning up the wicks and switching to a CE-5 clearomizer, I'm still going through 1-2 heads per week.

I've tried a few flavors but really like 2 peas in a pod "Chillin with Frosty" basically a peppermint menthol.

My only problem is it seems to have lost the peppermint flavor quickly and the heads keep burning up at a rate faster than I'd like. Is this a function of the CE-5's the menthol or maybe just my battery voltage and the 1.8ohm heads don't get along?

Are you cleaning them? Do you do the "tilt"? You have to keep those wicks wet.

To clean them, merely rinse them and do a "dry burn". Which means after you take it apart to clean it, put them on the battery (without the plastic top) and watch the coils until the glow red all the way across. I have NEVER burned through even ONE of those heads in 3 months?
