Hey 'stang!

Never seen it at WalMart...actually never looked! lol Anyway if they had 'em you would probably need to buy too much.

Most juice vendors sell it repackaged in small quantities 1/4 oz and up...bought 1/4 oz from DIY FlavorShack for $1.50.

You still looking for the elusive ultimate menthol tobacco? Might want to take a you look at this DIY from the VG USERs ONLY group in the Social Forum...liquid extraction from pipe tobacco.

Looks pretty good, and gonna try it soon and augment it w/ menthol crystals.

JuicyLiquid.com has menthol drops. Look under "speciality items". They're pretty potent, so start out slow..... I add in about one drop per mil of liquid - but then I like it strong.

I couldn't find the crystals and didn't want to buy them from ebay so I called a couple of drug stores in town that did compounding and sure enough, they had them. but I had to get my doctor to write me a perscription for them before they would sell them to me. He did, and I got them, but the drops are easier to dose out one drop at a time. the crystals are all different sizes so you never really know how much you're adding.

Hey Ed!

Sounds like a real expensive way to get $1.50 worth of crystals. Btw, you use the crystals to make your own menthol drops very inexpensively using pga or equivalent. Here's a simple recipe

The doctor thing was just a phone call - no charge. But the perscription was about $25 for 15 Gm. That's pricey, but I know I've got the real deal 100% pure. I can't do the PGA thing. I'm a recovering alcoholic. I tried some Everclear drops once to increase the TH and I could feel the alcohol buzz. Not a good thing for a recovering alcoholic. I'm not sure what the base is for the menthol drops I bought from JL.com, but there's no buzz and a bottle of drops is just $4.

I've heard lots of people talking about mint flavors when talking about menthol. But if you want real menthol, mint won't get you there. Mint and menthol are net even close to being the same taste.

DIY FlavorShack sells small bags starting a 1/4 oz (ample amount) for $1.50, 1/2 oz for $2.75. Dawn also sells 30ml of very concentrated menthol drops for $8.95. Check her site for DIY kits, flavorings, and mixers. If you're interested in mixing, browse her site.

EDITED: left computer before posting so a little too late. Menthol drops are convenient since eliminates making your own. If they sell small amounts like 5ml or so then go that route.
