menthol crystals-explain and where to buy em?

i have read about the menthol crystals, can someone explain what thats all about and where are folks ordering them from? and whats the difference between them and e-juice?

Sounds like a great deal with that ebay item, but I am just using regular Johnsons Creek Juice with a top off of the cheap peppermint liquid extract you can get at safeway and other u.s. super markets, Mccormicks Peppermint extract. I know its not ideal, because it has oil extract in it and some people claim that oil tends to clog atomizors, But not for me at least. I just want the instant gratification of being able to buy it locally. Anyhow, the johnson creek juice with the top of peppermint is quite tasty.

I bought mine over the counter at my local pharmacy. The crystals are used in aromatheraphy and in a home made decongestant and at least in the UK seem widely available.

I use mine by dissolving a few crystals in a warm VG stock which I then use to dilute high str e-liquid.

Got mine from the pharmacy in wal-mart. 5 grams, used 2 chrystals in 10ml of glycerin and microwaved for 10-15 seconds. Using it to cut liquid and a lot of the time dripping with it straight.

Most e-juice does not have menthol, just mint flavoring. Puresmoker premium mint flavored seems to have at least a touch of menthol in it. Menthol crystals sooth the throat and make e-smoking smoother much like it does for analog cigs.

To dissolve the crystals in e-juice it just needs to be warm, not hot. about 1 second in the microwave for every ml of liquid seems about right. Disolve one crystal at a time and taste. It is very easy to over do it, although an extra strong batch is very nice if you have a cold.

I bought some menthol crystals today, and tried placing a small shard on top of the cartridge material. It melted in about 2 puffs, and added a nice menthol flavour. And when I say small shard, I mean SMALL. I can't give you an idea of size, but teeny would be a good description. It lasted for the entire cartridge life too. Be careful, too many pieces will turn you into Frosty the snowman.
If you're in Canada, Shoppers drug mart will sell you menthol by the gram. 5 grams = 84 cents!
