Menthol crystals

Hi guys, i just bought a crap load of menthol crystals. Wanted to know if it's better to do menthol drops so you can add to other bottles if you need em. Or add crystals to the ready made juice.

About TPA dk-tab. How much do you guys use? 10%?

For repeatability, probably try to make a couple ounces of liquid concentrate. Just shake before each use, to keep it mixed.

Okay, let's say i'm about to make a 10ml of menthol drops. How much of the crystals to fill? I'm confused. I'm not getting that cool menthol taste out of my juices.

What kind of menthol do you like one that will knock your socks off or one thats a bit lighter and sweeter? You can use the crystals however you like either directly add them to your premade bottle to add some flavor or you can mix up a concentrate with PGA to use.

I use the liquid menthol drops from PA. I found that 6-7% is really my sweet spot combined with 5-6% Koolada and 20% Wintergreen. Your menthol flavoring via crystals will depend upon the strength of your dilution. When you flavor, start with a small amount, then sample. Keep adding menthol until it's correct. Then you can back calculate the amount you used and the amount of your final product and you know how much to use on a larger batch.

mixing is definately best. as far as how much Ive seen a lot of mixing guidelines but it really doesn't matter as long as it is consitant. aslo depends on if you want the strength easy to adjust or killer menthol with a drop per bottle of juice.

I like mine more adjustable mostly on the light side so I do 1/4 tsp menthol to 10 ml pg then about 1 or 2 drps per ml of juice. I would suggest that as a safe start then adjust how you do it from there.

Thanks guys. I've got no idea what im searching for. But i've filled a 10ml bottle with the crystal at about 75% of the bottle, then added pg and shake like there's no tommorow. Ended up pretty good for 5 drops in a 10ml flavoured liquid. It was creme de menthe, creamy minty menthol. Awesome!!!

Hey mate, about TPA's DK-TAB, I would start with 5%. Someone told me 8% but I found that a little too much for me... Start small and tweak from there!

Yeah man, i used 10% and it tasted like kitchen cabinets. Not that i've ever tasted kitchen cabinets. But thats the description. Lol. Gonna try 5% later. Thanks mate!

Take your crystals and put em in a baggie better yet double baggie. Take a rolling pin or bottle and crush the crystals into a powder. Take your powder and fill up any size bottle to the top. Then fill that bottle to the top with PGA (grain alcohol) or a high proof vodka. Now you have menthol that can be added to any recipe. I've never mixed with PG but I would again crush the crystals. A little heat (put some water in a cup and microwave to a boil then place your bottle of mix in it) this may help dissolve the crystals in the PG. The alcohol will add a little throat hit and also make VG a little thinner.

About TPA dk-tab. How much do you guys use? 10%?

Some like it strong.
Just try the DK at 15%. I'll vape it right away but if you let is sit for awhile the smell will decrease and the flavor will mellow.
I've been mixing TPA's Tobacco Alcohol blend at 5% DK 15%
I mix up my own tobacco blend which is quite a bit stronger than TPA's scubabatdan's recipe.
10ml PGA to 3 drops tobacco absolute. The dropper I use is TPA's medium dropper approx. 25 drops per ml. This is strong but I'll use alone at 15%. Again this will mellow the longer it sits/steeps.

If you're ordering from TPA try the m-type tobacco mixed at 10%.

Of course YMMV hope this helps
