Hey guys,
I'm a menthol vaporer, and therefore extremely sad that Cash over at PureSmoker has decided to stop his Cash E-juice line. His was the only menthol I was truly satisfied with. The vape was huge, and the flavor was minty and full, without a hint of tobacco: the way I like it.

Now I have tried many different companies menthols and I'm wondering, what are your favorites or others you've tried that you could compare to Cash's menthol (assuming you've tried it)?

Please help a gal out here!
Thanks very much.

Well, if you can't find a good premade substitute, try DIY. Minty menthol is a favorite of mine. I only use VG but no doubt it works whatever the base:

to make 1ml (assuming ~20 drops per ml)-

16 drops of base (VG, PG, whatever strength you want)
3 drops pure peppermint oil
1 drop coconut or tobacco extract or anything of your choice (or omit)
1/4 drop menthol (one-quarter of a drop - that is, 1 drop per 4ml)

I use a DIY menthol liquid: a saturated solution of menthol crystals dissolved in 50/50 VG and alcohol (rum in my case).
This means you add crystals until no more will dissolve. You can warm it a bit to speed up the process but it only takes a few minutes. Don't make a lot because a little goes a long way.
Menthol is VERY STRONG and you only need a tiny amount. Too much and you get a vile medical taste. Be careful. If you add 1 drop of menthol to 1ml of e-liquid it will be wrecked - smells like Vicks Vapor Rub and tastes worse.

This is a good minty menthol vape, I like to add a touch of something else like coconut or tobacco but maybe you don't. For me it works best with an LR atty or 5 volts. Maybe on low voltage you might need to add more peppermint or even menthol, to hop it up a bit.

If (like me) you are not a DIYer, you've got some further exploration ahead of you. The favorite menthol of other vapers (including veterans) may very well not be right for you.

You can read and view reviews* to narrow the field and buy small bottles from various suppliers – including different menthols from the same supplier, e.g., Vapor4Life has almost a dozen menthol flavors (none of which I have tried, so no thumb up or down from me on those).

* AllAboutTheVapor, GrimmGreen, and smokie are among the most prolific video reviewers of e-liquid. [NOTE: Many other great video reviewers concentrate primarily on hardware.]

BTW, even reviews of non-menthol flavors might have some relevance for you. If a reviewer raves about several flavors from a supplier, praising the overall quality of their juice, it might be worth giving their menthol a try. For example (and it is only an example), I happen to enjoy Backwoods Brew juices (doesn't mean you would), but I'm not a menthol man, so I've never tried Don's Menthol Tobacco. Pretending, for the moment, that I am a reviewer you like and trust, you could use my comment as incentive to track down more specific comments about his menthol flavor (there happen to be two on his website plus ENIPuff's here on ECF).

Another approach is to use candre23’s "E-Liquid Cost-per-ml" list of e-liquid suppliers (with links to their sites), sortable by large-bottle cost, sample-bottle cost, or shipping cost. An invaluable tool for the thrifty juice shopper.

My intent in this post has been to "teach you to fish" rather than give you one. Hope it helps.

Enjoy the adventure!
