I'm trying to put a starter kit together for a cousin of mine who smokes light menthol cigarettes, and I need some suggestions for a good, moderately priced, moderately mentholated juice, i.e., you know immediately that it's mentholated, but it won't flash freeze your tonsils. Looking for true menthol with a tobacco / tobacco-ish base. She's been using disposables from time to time, so she doesn't have huge expectations flavor-wise, but there must be better out there somewhere. I don't care for menthol myself, so I've never shopped for it and really don't know where to look, other than Roar / Rawr. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Well I personally smoked Marlboro Menthols as well as Newport Menthols and what got me off of those was Halos Tiki Juice. Sweet dry tobacco flavor with a hint of spice. Not HOT spice but flavorful spice. If she wants a more menthol oriented flavor she could go with Mystic by Halo which tastes almost like a Marlboro Smooth or Thug Juice by MBV which is a strawberry oriented juice with some menthol in it. She could always mix her own with just some menthol juice and whatever tobacco juice she likes to get the desired strength.

I have most of the ones listed here and a whole lot more. A whole lot. I found my adv to be Mr E Liquid with some Vapor God menthol added (sometimes half and half and sometimes just a few drops) and if I feel fruity, add a few drops of fruit. I must have the menthol in my vape no matter what.....I ran out of my all day vape Mr. E because I decided to try all the other menthols I have.....I have a whole lot lol........I am now stuck because they are not true menthols.......they are....... well not for me. I'm off to call Mr. E as his phone number is on my speed dial. Good luck. :)

I smoked menthols for years so when I switched to vaping I wanted to try OTHER things besides menthol (and menthol tobacco, especially). Just my $0.02 worth.

That said I found Mt.BakerVapor's "Thug Juice", as others have said, a pleasant menthol. The menthol smoker in me REALLY likes their "Whiteout" though! It's not really a menthol, more of a mint, like white tic-tacs. VERY nice throat hit and mouth feel with a smooth, not "over the top" thing that makes it one of my favorite "all day vapes".

For a true, tobacco "menthol" flavor check out Tsunami "Med Menthol". That's the closest I've had yet to sucking smoke out of a real, menthol cigarette.

I'll second Halo's Mystic. Strong enough to know its there but it doesn't slap you in the face. Although not the cheapest $/ml wise but its really clean juice so cartos and attys last a long time, also it's thin enough that it wicks well in about any device.the ease of use is worth the extra money for somebody starting out. If cartos are clogging and need cleaned or replaced often or if dry hits are common it's easy for a newbie to get discouraged or use it as an excuse to go back to analogs.

That is absolutely true and something I haven't thought about. Thanks for the tip.

And thank you, everybody, for all the suggestions - is this a great community or what :)

I'm enjoying freedomsmokeusa's Ultra menthol. I tried several of their minty flavors and this one is the closest (albeit not exact.) Beware, some of the menthol ones seem to taste like toothpaste (to me at least.)

That has been my (limited) menthol experience as well.

Give Johnson Creek "Wisconsin Frost" a try. It's nice. Not overpowering with the menthol. I found it nice and smooth. Not too sweet or candy-like either.

I like Wisconsin Frost as well, but for me their Tundra really hits the mark. It lacks a little bit of tobacco flavor, but I just add a little Domestic (4 parts Tundra to 1 part Domestic) and I'm a happy camper. It has a little more menthol (less peppermint) and tastes closer to a real menthol cigarette when mixed. If she is using Blu Magnificent Menthols (OP doesn't state what disposables she has tried) then this mix is close. Both are good, so I guess it depends on what he OP's cousin is looking for as a replacement to analogs. To the OP, IMHO pricing should never be a factor in purchasing e-liquids. Quality of the juice and customer service are well worth a couple of dollars more to me.

Either way, Johnson Creek rocks as my go-to supplier.
