Hi All
this is my first post on this forum. I am an ex smoker now 100% vaping an 100% sold on the products. I smoked for 35 years and gave it up due to lack of breath, smell and being a social outcast. After 14 unhappy years I took it up again, I don't know but I feel something in my brain needed the nicotine. I started smoking again for three years, out of breath, smell and social outcast again. I read as much as I could about e cigs and decided to give them a go. Well.... It's just what I need, all the good things and none of the bad.
i am worried that the authorities will mess it up so I have written to my MEps and MP. So far I have had positive replies from all and my MP has passed my comments on to the Minister concerned and will let me know his reply.
i would like to use this my first post to encourage as many people as ppossible to contact as I have done. It must be in your own words or it will get filtered out. Tell them your story and your feelings.

What would be good would be some support from the news people. They are very quick to put out bad news and misinformation but good news is apparently just not news.
I am still suffering from the fallout from a program called Pedigree dogs exposed. I am not saying that they were wrong in everything they said but in my breed, Cavalier king Charles spaniels, we are still suffering from the misinformation. Yesterday a lady in the vets said, what about their brains being too big for their skulls. Tatal misinformation directly from that program.
Maybe we need to march or demonstrate to get their attention.

I'm a great dane, and my owner thinks my brain is to small for my skull. I have read about the situation that you are facing in the UK. They will create a black market if they go ahead with this proposal. I tried to sign your petition, but it's restricted to residents of the UK. Keep plugging away, as they are talking about 2016.

Thank you Esharp for trying to help. You are right, there are many people like me who will not give up vaping and if we have to order black market or cross boarder then we will. As far as I can see if I mix my own then the only thing that will be licences it the nicotine and it already is as a pharmaceutical product. All the hardware etc cannot be licences or taxed. It's only when you put the nicotine in the product and then sell it that the problems start. The big shame is that ALL smokers could be vaping and I am sure this would save many lives.
Governments should be making vaping products as easily available as cigarettes or even easier. Vaping should be allowed in all the places that smoking is banned now to encourage as many smokers to switch as possible.
