Mesh sub ohm coil

Hello, I am not very new to vaping but I am new to mesh sub ohm coils. I recently purchased a Fireluke Mesh tank and like it. My only complaint is the increased air flow that I am not used too. I understand that is typical of a mesh coil. Is there any way I can adjust it in some way that may reduce the increased air flow? Not so sure there is but looking for tips or advice that may help.

The airflow is adjustable by using the airflow control ring at the bottom.

If you reduce it too much it will probably over heat the coil & burn, it is designed to be a DTL / high airflow delivery device.

Yes but you risk burning. Did you have a mtlsetupbefore?

Thanks for the reply’s. Yea, I have the airflow very low so burning it out could be an issue for me. I’m not used to that much air flow and finding it difficult to get used too. I am coming from a Big Baby Beast but the coils burn out way too quick with air opened to half. It doesn’t help that I am using sweet fruity flavors. I do know that hurts the coils.

Turn the wattage down and reduce the amount of airflow. I run the kanthal 0.15 coil at 50w and the SS316 0.12 coil in TC @45w 450f.

I played around with it a little and I think I have found a “happy medium”.
I have enjoyed it more today. Thanks to everyone for the help and advice!
