Metal 14500 box

What yah guys think a new winner in cheap yet durable box mods? Gonna get me one to experiment with.

It's funny, but I've been thinking about that a lot lately. I guess the only way we're gonna have a metal 2AA box is if it's internally insulated, or at the very least, one of the battery terminals insulated from the metal box itself.

Right now, I'd settle for a sort of aluminum "jacket" that would fit snugly over the plastic box halves.
Someone hurry up and invent aluminum in a spray can! LOL

I came close to another one, but it would require more modding then it was worth. I've been looking at metal AA x2 battery cases, maybe I should try that with insalated in there somewhere. Could mod that if one exsist. Off to look for another hr.

I got a bigger box (if you wanted to go to a pair of 18650s) from MPJA.com.

They also have a 60x55x30mm box that the height could be cut down with a hacksaw to about 60X55X22mm or so.
