So, we hibernate indoors for most of the year. At least, that's what I do.

Most people didn't have A/C when I was a kid. We had fans and cold drinks. We watched TV while dripping in sweat. Didn't enjoy it, but that's the way it was. I don't enjoy avoiding being outdoors for 8 or 9 months per year. I hate that most of the year it's too hot to enjoy my first convertible car.
If it was one of four seasons, and a break from Winter's cold (not the lion's share of the year), I might find it almost enjoyable.
This guy follows you everywhere you go ... hmmm, he likes the heat too, LOL.

O gosh...I have drip tip envy! I have but a few, and they are like jewelry...jazz it up a bit. I would love to have a couple of Berts tips at some point..they are special.

I am currently on a mad look for 306 type tips also. I do not see a source for metal ones either. I do not know if the metal would get too hot, however I am just looking for SOMETHING for the 306 that doesn't look like a plastic straw. Will be watching this thread for ideas!

The gentleman who makes these just does it on the side and it is a hobby~this is my understanding. I do not believe that he is a member here and I am not sure if posting his info would be OK or not. For those that I have given the info to, let us know if he is still making these for others~I haven't heard back from him after messaging him a few times.
He may have stepped back from making them for others, I really don't know at this point.
