Mine is a shorter version and it does transfer heat. I have placed an order for the one listed, it is 1¾ inches long. I tend to take 3-4 long hits and can heat up a 306 SS tip.

I actually have a 306DCA now which takes a 510 drip tip,. I'm using the SuperT stainless shorty and it looks much better. I also have a 510-510 "modder's connector" in there since the Icon's juice well is so deep. Here's a crappy cell phone pic.
