I love all of these genesis style RTAs that came out before August 8th 2016, but where is the metal? Don't these inventive types know that glass tanks break? Where is the black market for metal tank replacements?

agreed.. my daughter who's a klutz loves her Triton for the metal cage thing... myself, sadly there's none that I've found/seen that I'd be happy with but whenever I see any metal cage type, I'll check it out as much as I can and cross my fingers that it might be one that would interest me, but sadly.. none so far.

I'm comfortable with vape bands. I hear that the glass is thinner in the caged tanks. There was a glass shop that made glass for most of the newer tanks. I don't have a link to that site tho.

the RSST uses a plastic tank and its pretty much "bullet proof".... I know for sure its drop resistant

Yeah it is a bummer that they did not release more of the metal cage tanks. My gf broke both of our nautilus ones, and now uses an Innokin Endura which has a nice combination metal/glass tank design, but the coils and style of vaping aren't doing the trick anymore. I would gladly build Kayfuns for her, but even the V5 is a bit too fiddly for her. The new Digiflavor Siren 22 is not fiddly at all. You don't get the leaking problems that you do with other designs, but it is an all glass tank.

I had completely forgotten about those! Definitely going to grab some.

I will have to see if there are any left out there. I got a first generation DiD laying around. Still works like a champ

Trouble with plastic tanks is that some liquids was damage it, break the plastic down. Cinnamon and a few others will do that.
