Much love and many hugs to all my beloved Reo Folk. Thanks so much for well wishes and concern and birthday greetings. I love you, too.

Stopping in for a few moments but wanted to say Howdy. It's been a tough past month with little spare time and when I got home from enjoyable but pretty stressed visit with family immediately came down with killer flu that kept me down for a week; brain function almost nil which I call "semi comatose," although doctors who haven't experienced this personally say there is no such thing. They are wrong I tell you.:p I'm on the mend. DH is well and is as "grumpy old man" as ever but sweet, loving, and supportive as ever, too.

I doubt I'll ever catch up reading and I'm so sorry to have missed all the wonderful things going on with you all. Know that all have been in my thoughts and positive thinking, and even though I may not know of problems any of you have experienced, I have been directing "good will" beams in all directions constantly.

I have missed you dear friends and hope to be back participating very soon.

My love and appreciation, Feisty Alice

Thanks so much Lovies. I've missed you all terribly. Lonely out here in the Ozone. Now off to heat up water to start hand washing three weeks of dirty dishes. Last Thursday afternoon, just as I was feeling well enough to get up and do anything, I had to swim into the kitchen; small water heater under sink had blown and was gushing water. (Good for nothing Bubs didn't alert me to new "swimming hole.") Luckily the house is lower on that end of house (steel pier and beam deck keeps house from sliding down hill; really) so I was able to sweep much of the water out the back door. This morning I made the mistake of telling DH I felt well enough to clean up the kitchen so he's expecting real plates, glasses, flatware, and most importantly counters when he gets home tonight.

BTW.... Damn HOOPLES got me!!!!! DH called Thursday with signs of the flu but but luckily he only had sore throat and some bronchitis. I figured from my onset and his the incubation was six days........ so they got me at airport or on airplane!!!

Love, Feisty Alice
