Micro coil life time and ...

Hi,
I'm pretty new to all of this but I did lot of research and for now I think I catch up on most things in this game.

But,few things interest me,so if you will be so kind to help,I will appriciated it very much.

1. How long can I expect for tipical mini protank II DIY kanthal micro coil to 'live' ? Simply put, how will I know that micro coil 'died' ?

(I assume cotton will 'die' first, and need to change offten,but what's with micro coil)


2. Let's say,I got few tanks,and put liquids in it. How long can I store liquid in tank and not use it ? (can liquid stay in tank one month,and after that long time just be putted on battery and vape,or such a long time storage is only for original bottles which the liquid came from)

Hi Woody, welcome....

You have it pretty right on the cotton needing replacing as often as necessary, but I think if you go to Youtube and look up dry-burning micro coils you will get a better idea of how much life you can get out of them. As far as juice in tanks, well, my sister fills hers and then uses them as she gets to them. I don't know about a month or more, might junk up the heads, but maybe someone else can tell you for sure. Again, welcome!

I have one particular flavor that gets thick after a week in the tank (TopVapor Spiced Pipe). The others seem to be fine.

The coils themselves can last almost indefinitely. If you clean the coils with wick changes you can vape them as long as they will fire.
