So I have my trust AGA T's

I've been using mesh and .28 kanthal, 4-5 wraps, sometimes 6. Trying to get enough wraps to get the resistance up enough for my VV mods is a PITA. So I started experimenting and I managed to get enough wraps around the mesh wick to get about 1.5 ohms. Enough for my VV mod, Seigeli Zmax mini.

However I have to crank the watts up to like 10+ to get a good throat hit, which drains the battery in like 2 hours.

So I make a micro coil with .28 kanthal, about 9 wraps, comes out to about 1.7 ohms and I'm using ecowool and now I get a good vape @ 7w, which I assume will make my battery last longer.

I'm wondering why I need less wattage with the micro coil?
