I don't quite get what you mean? The resistance (ohm) can't be changed without rebuilding the coil. There's no setting on a mod you can use to adjust the resistance. Perhaps you mean watts? In that case, start low and go higher until you reach the ideal point for the flavor and vapor you like.

That doesn't actually adjust the resistance, it just for in case the mod misreads the resistance and you know the right value. You should not adjust the value unless absolutely necessary.

You shouldn't enter any value at all. Let your mod read the value while the coil is cold, and lock the resistance read at that value if needed (yihi chips for example require this). Read the manual to see exactly how your particular mod works.
