I appreciate your help! Believe me, I feel hopeless! I will try to get a manual battery and do the dry burn. But my wicks are very black. Are those replaceable? If so, is it hard to do? Oh, I have the mini t3. Would that have anything to do with what is happening, since it is smaller?

The heads were designed to be disposable - so you can replace them. Yours sound like they need to be tossed - although as I mentioned you have nothing to lose by trying a clean and dryburn on them. But they may be beyond saving.
You can buy new heads;

Also - did you know there's a Smokeless Image forum here on ECF?

The Volties are a great bunch and will help you out with any questions over there too - just a heads up.

No close place that I know of. There could be. Haven't really had time to google it. I have been fighting with mini e cigs all weekend as that is all I have to fall back on. Keep charging and fighting with the M3 clearomizers they sent me instead of the T4s I ordered. Always cleaning them out at the top to keep from getting juice in my mouth! They are so nasty! But I would like to find a close by place. Does anyone have any suggestions on better e juice than I been using? I just ordered a sample pack from Halo. I only vape tobacco flavors.

Ok, thanks! I will try that. What about the Kanger T2? Would they be ok for me to use? The replacements are cheaper.

I didn't have much joy with the T2s myself. The T3s are an improvement. The T2s are ok to use - as long as they are 808 threaded, which Smokeless Image T2s are. But I think the T3s work out cheaper in the long run - the replacement heads don't cost too much and can be cleaned and reused easily.

Sounds like you have a list. You need a manual battery, some clearomizers or T3 repacement heads, and some juice. What I also recommend is buying a pack of cartomizers - they are terrific to have on hand as back ups.

Have you tried Mount Baker Vaper? Coupon code is ecf for a small discount - and his prices are good. His juice has become popular. I've vaped plenty of it myself.

Ok, I figured the T2 replacements were cheaper than the T3s. I paid $2.99 for the T3 heads. The T2 heads are around $1.79 each.

I don't think therT2s have replacment heads. They have replacement drip tips. None that I used ever had replacement heads.
The T3 has actual replacement heads you can buy - the part that the juice gets vaporized by. These:

I have to go take care of some stuff for a while - I recommend you do pop into the Smokeless Image forum here. And also the T2s may end up costing you more. I also found them hard to get working properly after cleaning them out.
Clearomizers like the T3 are better because the wick part is replaceable.

Maybe you can buy a T2 and but a couple of T3 replacement heads and you can test both out -that way if one doesn't suit you won't have wasted a lot of money.

Wow! His prices are very good. What mixture would you suggest for a good throat hit and as much vg as needed?

Depends what you like. VG is thick and higher VG can clog up your clearomizers too. PG enhances nicotine and flavor delivery - which enhances throat hit. So - I suggest trying PG/VG 65/35 or 50/50. Its up to you what you think will be good for you. PG/VG 65/35 is a good medium range to get.

Ok - I gotta go for a while. Happy shopping!

Thanks kiwivap! I have a manual battery on order. Will try to revive these Kangers. It's worth a try!

Ok, I got my manual battery. Tried to take one of the T3s apart. The wick just fell apart. Almost like a dry rotted string. Guess I will have to get new wicks. And give it another go. Thank you for all your useful info!

I have tried this tobacco flavor and really enjoy it but I do have a problem with it. I use a mini Nova tank and an Ego-C battery but as the tank starts to get low it seems to cook the juice. The carbon starts to build on the coil and before the tank is done it gets a real burnt taste. I have tried different resitance heads from 1.8 to 2.8 but that doesn't seem to make a difference. The juice is a little dark coming right out of the bottle at 2.4% but they don't publish the PG/VG mix for this. I really like this flavor but don't want to put up with the burnt taste. Any suggestion?

I have also tried Legend from Heather's Heavenly and eliquid tobacco flavors, niether of which compared to Midnight Express. I may just order a sample from Johnson creek (they only carry 1.8%) and Halo for a try.

The ratio for NicQuid is 60% PG and 40% VG. They suggested I put 10 to 15 drops of distilled water in to thin it out. I did that but am afraid to use it. I already clogged up "5"- T3 clearomizers with it. It turned to tar after the first 20 vapes or so. Tasted like burnt cardboard!

Forgot to mention the 10 to 15 drops of distilled water was for a 30 ml. bottle of Midnight Express.
