Just wait until you've been vaping a few months. I used to switch back and forth between analogs and my DSE-801 pretty regularly. The first couple of analogs might taste bad when I switched back to them, but after that I was back to my normal smoking routine. I found the ego back in February, and until recently, I have probably only had 1 or 2 here and there that tasted like crap and I didn't even finish them. Well, I moved recently and lost my extra stuff. My sole battery I had left died and I was without vapage. So until the battery charged, I went back to smoking. I tell ya, I ended up smoking the whole pack even though my battery was charged (felt so bad paying so much that I didn't want to waste them). EVERY cigarette tasted like crap. From start of the pack till the finish. I was SOOO ready to be done with them and get back to vaping. I didn't have that issue before when I switched back and forth. Makes me think there really is something more to vaping than meets the eye. Made me very proud of myself too that I was able to give up again so easily. It's been over a week since that day and I haven't had a single smoke since :) :) :)

Lies. Health Canada said there's no evidence it's helps people quit.

Kidding - congrats! It's so easy it feels wrong, eh? :)

so true!

Good luck and well done!

although they taste dirty, I love that nasty bite that comes with it

When I bought my first pack after several months of vaping, it was in the morning and I'd had no nicotine yet. Stupidly I bought my old favorite, Camel menthol full flavors. I liked them cause of the menthol filter and the crystal inside that gives you even more mint. I should have went with lights or extra lights. I only smoked about 2/3's of that first cig, but you wanna talk about bite? I smoked it outside the grocery store while my fiancee was inside shopping. I walked in and immediately had to take over the cart so I had something to balance myself. I had instant vertigo, and the first few steps I took sent the nicotine throughout my body. I could literally feel it in EVERY part of my body, from the top of my head to my toenails. Felt like I was beingly painlessly electrocuted. Was actually quite scary as I'd never felt that before. Yeah, they have bite ;)

I smoked what I had left when my vaping stuff arrived. 2 days. for 2 days I went through some withdrawals when I stopped and I vaped constantly. I was lucky to go 3 hrs without a smoke before, and that was hell to me. after 2 days the nasties had left my body and nic was enough. now over 7 months later and the smell of a cig burns my nostrils and is on the level of visiting a chicken coop ;)

good luck. you have a good support group here and in your area. vaping isn't just an alternative to smoking to me. because of the friends I have met and the way we get together to share our stories, hardware and juice, it's so much more of a social entity. I look forward to seeing my vaping friends and wish we could do it more often. hell I'd be down for weekly or bi weekly vape meets

That's what happened with me, the tobacco just turns on you. It took a few months for me however. Congratulations, smoke free is a good feeling. Been vaping well over a year can't remember my last cigarette though 10,11,12 months ago oh well never again!

Smoked a pack a day for 27 years up until february 9th of this year. The transition was pretty easy for me. Since I was still getting nicotine I was kept satisfied in that sense. It was just letting go of all the other rituals that go along with the stinky analogs that was wierd (not having to step outside to get my fix, emptying an ashtray, carrying a lighter, etc).

Congratz that you can definately say you are a non smoker now :)

Wow that is the one thing I will always miss finding a reason to go outside for no reason
