Now that you're vaping, and your blood pressure is likely lower than is was when you were smoking, you might like to raise it again for old times sake.

I've got the perfect solution! Listen to this debate between California State Senator Ellen Corbett, tobacco Control Supremo Stanton Glantz and Mike Siegel (the voice of reason) debating: Will California Crack Down on E-Cigarettes?: Forum | KQED Public Media for Northern CA - according to Glantz, e-cigarettes haven't helped you, e-cigarette companies are aggressively marketing to kids etc etc.

Then, read these blog posts which completely destroy Glantz.

http://tobaccoanalysis.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/researcher-continues-to-use-bogus-data.html and Stanton Glantz – liar or innumerate? New evidence says: both! | Anti-THR Lies and related topics

Thanks for posting this. Sharing it now on my Facebook, Twitter, G+, etc. Man, Glantz is just insidious.

Wow, Stanton is dangerous. I can't even believe the amount of ignorance and disdain for not only people who vape but those who are still struggling with cigarettes. This is what we are fighting against folks.

Edit: Reading more about this guy I can see that he is willfully lying.
Well put. Wow. Geez.

Listening to the Stanton Glantz piece at the 1:27 mark he says ecigs "put about 20% of the amount of formaldehyde and other toxins into the air".

WHAT? Since when is formaldehyde an ingredient in eCigs? Is he smoking crack?

By the way, does anyone else find it ironic that the last 4 letters of his name are ANTZ?

Politicians IME are notorious for debating about things that they have been told to or they jump on a band wagon with out investigating themselves. Sometimes just to get the spotlight. Occasionally they get caught in their ignorance but not often enough. Like that woman who thought if they banned the new manufacturing of high capacity magazines that when they were empty the guns would be useless because the magazines were ammunition.
