I officially joined (possibly started) the Mile High Vapers Club last week on AirTran #893 from TPA to MKE

I couldn't do much as I was really afraid someone would see what they thought was smoke but I did get a few small hits in here and there :thumb:

And BTW in case anyone else is wondering like I was last week, ecigs absolutely SAIL through security. I even overheard and saw one of the guards explaining what it was to another person working behind the scanners. It was kind of funny actually.

That's the nannies talking, all right....what it so bad about using snus on an airplane? It doesn't smell, there's no second-hand anything with it, you don't even have to spit. What's the big deal???

It's no worse than having a stick of gum in yer mouth, IMO.
Did you know that a number of years ago Singapore outlawed/banned public chewing of GUM?

If I remember correctly they kind of had good reason to do it. Lots of people were spitting it out on their sidewalks and streets making the place look like crap, and trying to clean it off of the pavement was costly. As opposed to wasting thousands of dollars in tax money, they just decided to ban public chewing of gum. Also, spitting gum onto a street is a health hazard since there are many communicable germs that could survive in and on the gum.

I really wouldn't mind if they kept a beat cop in downtown Oshkosh and ticketed anyone who spit their gum on the street. Maybe a $200 fine would make people think twice about spitting their sticky crap all over the sidewalks I regularly use.
