Went to Summerfest yesterday. They require you to empty your pockets and pat you down to get in.
The guy doing the patting had let me thru until he saw me putting a bottle of juice back into my pocket.
I kindly explained what it was, but he had never heard of such a thing so I was passed on to his superior.
Happy to say she had heard of e-cigs and was wondering where to get some for her mom.
I had a V4L card (which by the way explains vaping on the back for business owners) and gave it to her.
Except for a short delay I was in and had a great time.
Was stopped at least 6 times by people with questions. ( usually where'd you get that).

The moral of the story is-
Carry a few of those business cards you get when you order stuff.
Makes it a lot easier to explain and is much more credible!!

Many, many years ago, my husband, kids and I used to get into Summerfest for free because my mother in law worked for Schlitz. It used to be great and I've heard it's gotten really huge now - don't know if I'd want to go.

This summer I'll be taking my pv to the Irish Festival in Denver where I'll be volunteering again at the beer tents. It, too, has gotten bigger and bigger in the 15 years I've lived out here. But, I don't think it's gotten big enough to get searched. Hope not.

I order all my ecig cartomizers and juices online, have received business cards with all my orders. I just keep a few in my wallet and hand them out to people who ask questions.

I did go to Summerfest a second time and the guy asked what it was, I told him it was an electronic cigarette and juice, had no problems and no delay.
