It was an excellent, positive news piece.

Very nice. I like that the FDA news was a footnote at the end, and the reporter basically said what we have been all along: "Use at your own risk, and stay informed." The doctor gave very reasonable warnings while staying positive. Overall a very nice report.

Good job to you too Vicks. Overall I think they did a very nice job. I wish the final comment about the FDA's report would have contained a little more about the NRTs that also contain those substances, but the doc stayed pretty positive and that was a good thing. We had no idea what the doc was going to say either, so I'm glad it went well.

I just saw your posts and did see they mentioned a kiosk in Southridge Mall as a place to buy the e-cigs. Does anyone know if Brookfield Square sells them? I don't want the disposable. (and I don't want whatever it was in the picture on Today's TMJ4s piece on it!)

Overall, a very fair piece and you two did great representing e-smokers. The doctor's cautions are certainly matters of concern to many of us, so they can hardly be called unfair in any way.

My own doctor had the same position: Whatever keeps you off cigarettes has got to be better than sucking cigarette smoke into your lungs. He knew nothing of the e-cig before I showed him, but he'll never "endorse" it for others until it is known to be safe by FDA approval.

Welcome razewalk... I have heard rumors of a kiosk at Brookfield Square as well, but haven't been there in some time. I would honestly direct you to look online for your first purchase as the kiosks tend to be way overpriced and not as good of quality, IMO.

I would recommend looking around the forum, ask questions, read reviews, etc. You will have a much better idea where to start once you know more about them.

I believe the "piece" you referred to was the Janty Stick that Vicks was using. It is actually a pretty good piece (from what I hear), but I can understand your reservations.

Nice job, Vicks and Peg!!!! Also glad to see you using the Janty Stick, Vicks. I think more people are starting to realize that NOT looking like an analog is a good thing along with providing much better performance.
