I don't ever play multiplayer though... Never knew enough people I trusted to not burn down my house.

I'll be honest. I completely forgot about this thread.

I logged on today and started exploring, but the /help command wouldn't pop up. Then, I died from a fall into water...

fwiw, I have -0- MP experience, but when I tried to log back in, I would "free fall" for about -6000 and land on a 1-2 chunk 30-60x square area) of map at spawn. Chat wouldn't work, and I would be disconnected after about 2-3 minutes. I'm assuming my connection was lagging me, since I could see my room mate (on router) was pretty active.

I've pretty much stayed in the modding section of the MC forums, but I'll visit the MP section over the next couple days to get "i r smarter!" on MP functions/commands.

Shout out to the guy trying to help with commands. (sorry, didn't catch the name) I didn't get to thank you before my connection went bonkers.

This game reminds me alot of counter-strike back in the day with all the servers ran by fellow players.

Ive been playing since 2 weeks before it went to beta. I have to agree with a previous poster about the upgrades to server being very bad. The game is still a good bit far from being finished, but there is no reason with even 10% of the money they've made to have it so you can't login for days at a time.

Lots of potential tho, you can start up your own server and people can make their own scripts/mods for servers to come up with a completely unique world.

That's pretty amazing. These people couldn't have lives outside Minecraft!

I showed the video to my wife and she said she didn't need another game. She's into Farmville and all the other 'villes on Facebook. We have to get home by certain times and pause TV shows so that she can go harvest her crops. She knows when she has to be back before the crops rot from lack of harvest. Sheesh!

I broke my minecraft addiction, I cant play it more than 2 hours a session and a certain hours a week. it just doesnt consume my time anymore. BUUUUT.... I love the game so much that I wanted to host a server since the begining . Perhaps one day 3 years down the road ill be with the big dogs haha jk...nr

I host a Halo server from time to time, but since I joined a clan, there's always something going on in the clan server to take up what time I can give it.
