Mini Light Saber Mod?

Has anyone here done a light saber battery mod? Just curious. I found some mini light sabers at amazon, Obi, Vader, Luke, and Yoda, but wasn't certain weather they are solid or hollow. They are about 4.3" in total length and I figured if they are hollow, you could add connectors for the 18650 LiO batt and drop in a 510/901 battery connector. The 18650's are only like 2.64" so it would give a couple inches for button and the connector and wires. I purchased a couple as they are only like $10 so I will know for myself here shortly, but just wanted to find out if anyone had already looked into this.

Yeah the Obi ones are what I got. They look like they have a blank plate on the top, but I am not 100% certain of all the material. The tube has some reviews of a couple and they are metal and brass, so I may have to check up on heat temps of brass, but just trying to start thinking out of the box. Also thought about metal lighters (guns) and couple other wacky things. Just seems like everyone is sticking with the basic tube or box mods, so hope this turns heads in other directions...we'll see.
