Hey everyone, after recently having an issue with my bvc atty, I changed it and it fixed. Now I keep getting this wierd, almost waterd down taste. It's almost like my ejuice is flavourless until I'm exhaling. Even then it still tastes kind of wierd. I'm using an Aspire Mini nautilus, BVC 1.8 resistance with an Itazte MVP 2, set to VV 3.7

Seems to me you would be burning juice at 5v on a 1.8ohm coil. My battery only goes to 4.8v and I tried that on a 1.8 and my juice was wayyyyy darker and burnt looking at about half a tank. I've read that vaping burnt up juice can produce more dangerous chemicals... I think that is info I got from this forum but I read Alot so I don't remember. I recommend reading more before you go cranking the voltage way up. Happy vaping!

The BVC head is designed differently than a normal silica wicked clearo, they can take higher v/w settings.
Picture a miniature carto in a tank with 4 holes feeding the wicking material and an airflow control to increase / decrease airflow as needed.

Have you experimented with the airflow control ring?

Ive used one from 4.2 / 9.44w to 5.4 / 15.61w without any dry / burnt tastes. heat will increase as power increases.
There is no right or wrong power level or airflow setting, keep fiddling with it until you find what you like best.

Did you prime the wicking material with 2 -3 drops before filling, did you let it sit for a few minutes to saturate, did you take a few un powered primer puffs to make sure it wasn't dry before firing?

These are important things that you should get used to doing everytime you do anything with your tank(s)/coils.
After I clean my coil I dry burn it and put a drop or 2 on the coil itself and then I put my Flavor wicks in and throw a drop or 2 on those. And the few tugs without hitting your fire button assures that some liquid are gettin from your tank to your coil.

After you break down your tank to the coil. Put some warm water on it. Wipe off any eccess water off the bottom of the coild and around it. Then take that coil and screw it on your mod with no tank. Hold fire button 3 secs, let go, hit fire button let go. In fact If this applies to something similiar with your set up, this is what I do.
How to clean your Kanger Protank Coil - YouTube

It says Kangar but this is basically the same coil I have in my tanks.

My question is with the BVC should I put the three drops inside it as well?

On a brand new / never used head, I would.
Hold the head in you fingers open end up, tilt the head a little and drip 2 or 3 drops down the side so it lands on the screen, you should be able to see it soak in.
Ifin you use a needle tip / fine tip bottle it may take more, ifin you use big fat drops 2 -3 should do.

So if it's used and I just cleaned it out, then dry burned it, should I do the same thing?
