Mini Nova - plastic came out of tip?

So I noticed today that this plastic piece came right out of my mini nova plastic tip. Luckily I caught it, but I am curious what is this for?

Do I need it? I never even noticed it there before.

because it so loose now it won't stay in.

If it has become loose only after it came out, I would put it back in. No?

I never truely found out, why they put it there, but my guess is, that it's supposed to prevent liquid/condensation, from going into your mouth, if you vape while holding the Nova somewhat upside down

I think I did not explain it well. It came out after I did a vape, I guess I vaped too hard, but was half out, I was like what is this thing?

Now when I put it back in, anytime I vape hard it comes right out in my mouth..LOL

Just push it back in with a q-tip or something
