A friend of mine has a mini nova with a problem... it has an awful burnt tast, different than a normal burnt taste - absolutely terrible. Naturally, I told him to replace the atomizer head, he did and has the same problem (we have tried a few different heads). Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and maybe has a solution.

If this is anything like a standard nova, there will be a little silicon cap that helps to keep juice out of the center pin area. Alot of times these are too long and pinch off the wicks. Try cutting two little notches so the wicks are free and clear.
I will try that but it doesnt seem to be an issue with the atomizer head. He had no issues with if before, he had been using it for a few weeks before this started. It seems like its some sort of issue with the bottom part of the nova.
Make sure the bottom inside pin is sticking alittle bit lower than the outside piece. Maybe he had it screwed to tight to the battery and push the inside pin up where it does not make contact anymore. Normally when it is screwed on to tight it pushes the center pin of the battery in to far, but where you checked this out on your batteries as well as your friends it might be the center pin of the nova.
