I also pre-ordered from Potion vape. My understanding of the whole MPT2, from various threads here, is that there was originally only one version of the MPT2.

The one that was supposed to be for pre-order is for the original version which has a removable drip tip. Heck, that's why I wanted it.

Somewhere before the release date Kanger decided to release the MPT2 (static version) that does NOT include a removable drip tip. I'm guessing that they used the same upper as the MPT for this release and that's why it came sooner. So the MPT2 static is available and we have no idea when the MPT2 with removable tip will be available.

The dealer I ordered my MPT2 from was surprised when the order came in and they were all static tips. The good thing there is no glue and the glass can be taken out cleaned and replaced if needed. Now the question is when will the replacement glass arrive. I'm anxious to find out if glass does provide a better taste.

:)Kanger Pro Tank Mini II arrived today in it's nice box. I must say the packaging is excellent as each piece is well protected. Washed it out, let it dry, and filled it up with a coffee flavored ejuice.

The static tip is metal, but feels good to me. Tip is a bit thinner then the Evod tip, but no big deal. It came with two 2.5 ohm coils and it has a nice draw with them. The look and feel is excellent as it looks great on my Joye C-Twist battery. Currently vaping at 3.8 volts and getting plenty of vapor and flavor. Below is a picture of it on my white C-twist.

I'm curios as to why you and your wife don't like the steel tip on the Mini. Is it a feel or taste thing? I want the new Mini II bad, but will wait if the old tips were troublesome.

For me personally, there are a few reasons why I would want a removable drip tip:

1) The metal tips that come with the PT1 and other devices leave a nasty metallic taste in my mouth. Luckily, this metallic taste can be neutralized by soaking the device in white vinegar for 10 minutes, and then washing it out REALLY well.

2) A removable drip tip just gives you one more option on your delivery device to customize it how you want.

3) The more removable parts, the better cleaning the device can get
