First of all, happy Thanksgiving. :p

So I've been using Kanger BCCs exclusively for a while, and I love them. They've totally taken the place of cartomizers for me. I just prep an atty head by popping 1 of the wicks out, and it's good to go. Whether I'm using it in a full-sized Protank 2 or one of my Evods, it works perfectly.

But last week I figured I'd place an order for a couple Mini Protank 2's just to try them out, and when I use them with the SAME head that's kicking ... in the Evods and full-sized Protank 2 it is a disaster! I get the gurgling sound that is clearly a sign of flooding, the juice spits into my mouth through the center tube, and when I unscrew the tank there is juice in my mod's 510 connector. But when I put that same head back into my PT2 or an Evod, it works great again.

So... what is going on, what should I be checking? Is there something going on with how I'm screwing the Mini's center tube into the base, or is it the O ring that seems to be magically attached to the bottom of the tube or... what? Is this a common problem? Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

I would think that your coils need more wicks with the mini pt 2. That seems to be the only differentiating factor. Works great in 2 other tanks with popping 1 wick out. But not with the mini pt 2. Try using a fully wicked coil with it and see if that helps.

I also noticed that ProTanks in general seem to behave better if the liquid isn't so thin.

Huh, I didn't think to try putting the wick back in when I use the Mini. Great advice, I'll try it.

MPT2 is the lowest maintenance clearo ive ever used. Ive only change about 3 coils in over two months and that was only because of flavor changes. Never had leaking, gurgling, dry hits or anything. Always good til the last drop. Always get surprisingly good vapor out of them also. I only use the stock 1.8 coils and dont take out any flavor wicks. I dont remove flavor wicks on any kanger coils. Never a problem.

It sounds like what one of my T3s clearos did to me. I replaced the coil, even snagged a replacement base for it from my local guy, and it still gurgled and flooded. Finally just threw it away. I'd be loathe to do that with my Mini PT, though.

I'd check the gaskets as mentioned previously. Hope you get it sorted out, as the Mini PT is a great clearo.
