Mini Protank 3 - Poor smoke

Hello All,

I started a few weeks ago, my original setup is a EVOD (tank and Battery) and I'm getting a good amount of smoke, and everything goes well.

As I was looking for more smoke, I got a Mini Protank 3, and I´m using the same battery, and same liquid...

With the mini ProTank I´m getting about 20% of the smoke/vape that I get with the EVOD tank. I need to hit it 3 or 4 time to get the same amount of smoke that I get with the Evod at the first hit.

It is nor gurgling, not leaking, and already removed the flavor bands (nor sure the name)

Remove a flavor wick and see if that helps.

It looks like it was a combination of bad coil, and battery not totally charged....

It looks like the EVOD Tank is able to work with a battery with less charge than the Mini Pro Tank

Glad you found a solution! Even though I am a fan of the mini PT3, I've started to think that dual-coils on an Ego-type battery isn't the right match, performance-wise. I think if Ego batteries could push a little more current, it would be a perfect pairing.

Yes! Actually, what nobody has told you is that dual coils are generally weaker on standard batteries.

I use single coil BECAUSE of the problem you talk about.

Something with variable power.

I use iTasteVV v.3 a lot with dual coil mini pyrex tanks.

This is exactly what I just got for someone as a starter kit. The iTaste V3 with a Mini PT3 are a good combo.

Honestly, I just don't thing Ego style batteries, even the itaste vv really hold up to the kind of draw that dual coils put on them. It's not that they won't work, but I think it not only makes the charges fade extremely quickly, but kills the batteries much more quickly as well.

FYI... you can use the single coil heads from the EVOD, protank 2, 2 mini, etc... instead of the dual coil ones.

What if a person got a more powerful ego type battery say like an 1100? I am new and I was just planning on getting some aerotank minis to use on an 650. Oh and the coils will be 1.5.

Although an 1100 mAh Ego has more capacity than a 650 mAh model, they still have the same limitations on voltage and current. (Same laptop, bigger batteries).
